Among the various categories of cryptocurrencies—and while I imagine this isn't an exhaustive list—there are figures such as Mr. Roger and Mr. Aaron...

In reality, there are quite a few enigmatic international groups—as well as individuals from overseas—who, for some reason, make extensive use of imagery drawn from the *One Piece* series. (This includes figures such as "Arlong"—linked to theories of government assassination—and "Roger"—regarded as a pioneer among treasure-hunting firms in the BTC space.) While it would be fine if this frequent appropriation of characters from the Japanese anime *One Piece* posed no issues, the fact that it occurs at all adds to the general sense of unease regarding the international side of things.

For the pioneers of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency back in those early days, the primary cultural touchstones were *One Piece* and—perhaps—*Pirates of the Caribbean*. However, particularly among those from Europe, the hope is that these figures are not—unlike their cinematic counterparts—actual villains.

Although I was unable to participate in the scene back in 2008, I was at the time an avid listener of music themed around pirates and Vikings; indeed, some of the key figures involved seemed to have connections to Viking culture. I remain unsure whether this bears any relation to *One Piece*; furthermore, regarding past instances of *One Piece*-related criminal activity involving Japanese yakuza syndicates, I lack any acquaintances knowledgeable in that specific area. Consequently, information remains scarce and the situation opaque—though, naturally, one must exercise caution when dealing with any individuals linked to Japanese organized crime. Back when I used to sit in my room listening to the soundtrack of *Pirates of the Caribbean*—a popular film overseas—I was unable to join the movement myself;

However, there is a possibility that this cultural thread constitutes one specific facet—one particular direction—within the broader landscape of the cryptocurrency sector. While I have no desire to engage in malicious "pirate games," if a new, next-generation cryptocurrency were to emerge today—one of the same caliber and excellence as the original Bitcoin—I would certainly be eager to acquire it.

After all, I used to follow *One Piece* quite closely back in the day, reading it in *Weekly Shonen Jump*.

Although pirate culture itself is not generally viewed favorably in the modern era, I have always loved the music associated with it; it feels truly epic and grand.

While this does not necessarily apply to me personally, when observing figures within the cryptocurrency development community—such as those known as "Arlong" or "Roger"—one can discern a distinct cultural motif emerging within the "second-generation" cryptocurrency space: a convergence of real-life individuals, historical context, and the world of cryptocurrency.
