Satoshi Nakamoto's True Identity: The Hal Finney Theory and His Wife, Fran Finney
There's a well-known theory about the true identity of Satoshi Nakamoto, who I've known for some time. He was one of the early developers of Bitcoin and passed away in 2014. He was a renowned cryptographer and computer scientist. He was also a runner. Photos of him from his lifetime left an impression of his well-defined, muscular build.
I learned about the late Hal's X account, which he had instructed to keep after his death, and his wife, Fran, through his X account, which currently resides in Santa Barbara, California. Fran is one of the more interesting names for the X account.
It's a former French-related name. The creator of Bitcoin remains a mystery to the public, with numerous theories surrounding its multiple developers.
The current cryptocurrency-related running event is the Bitcoin Run 2025, held in hopes of eradicating ASL, a muscle-wasting disease that was the cause of Bitcoin co-developer Hal's death. I hadn't heard of it, but it was apparently held successfully.
I'm deeply interested in people who have left greater intellects and achievements than I can even imagine.
Seeing his X account after his death reminds me of the Mac OS X and Windows OS 64 I've experienced myself.
As for 64-bit Vista and Sony, I still have a 2011 Bravia Sony TV at home.
I'm a little happy to learn that Fran Finney, the beloved wife of Mr. Halfenney, one of the co-developers of the cryptocurrency Bitcoin, has the name of a Western legal tender currency.
It's completely legal tender, and while it's not a big deal, I'm still happy about it.
I've long hypothesized that the concept of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies lies in currency. I thought there might be some important clue, but the name cryptocurrency/virtual currency is gold, after all.
So perhaps this is a strategic comment? There are people who espouse conspiracy theories about a battle between legal tender and cryptocurrency, but it's clear that the wife of one of the early developers of Bitcoin was Fran, and she was one of the people whose name was used for the legal tender currency itself.
The love and sincerity of Bitcoin co-creator Hal and his wife, Fran, for cryptocurrency and fiat currency is still being commemorated through the Bitcoin Run. I wanted to be one of the people participating in the Web3 event, benefiting from Satoshi Nakamoto's legacy as a cryptocurrency-related runner, but that's not the case. However, I feel that if the results are poor and there's no point in participating, I shouldn't. Tomorrow, Hal's message reads:
Just waiting for Santa! Actually, I'm going to celebrate Christmas one day late! Regarding that message on my timeline from December 25, 2008:
I'd like to run again tomorrow, heading toward December 25, 2025. I plan to run about 6 miles. Bitcoin co-creator Hal's run, according to the timeline, is 11 miles (1600 meters x 11), which is simply too long for my current legs. However, I have proven that I can run even with the amount of sweat I produce, which may be due to hyperhidrosis, safely, every day, which is of course the case, but tomorrow I will either take a little break while running, or just run half a marathon, depending on how I feel.
